What are the power requirements for a TTA?

A GDS True Triaxial Apparatus uses a 3-phase power supply with the following characteristics:

Maximum current capacity: 64 A

Voltage: 380V to 415V measured across two of the phases at 50/60Hz.

GDS provides a 3-phase power socket with neutral and earth for wall mounting:

The expected wiring follows the British Harmonised convention as described by Amendment 2 (2004) to British Standard 7671:2001 Requirements for electrical installations. IEE Wiring Regulations. Sixteenth edition.

The table below shows the Harmonized wiring and color convention alongside the discontinued 3-phase wiring convention.

Please note that these are the conventions used in the UK.

The TTA 3-phase plug will is wired according to the harmonized convention. Local 3-phase power supply conventions may be different depending on the country or region. In that case, correspondence must be established between the local convention and the UK convention before wiring the wall socket, to make sure the sockets match the correct pins on the TTA power plug.
